2min 12sec Pete, that is a stolen - it's what potatoes grow from (an underground branch if you like)
Bucket #2 - they looked like wireworms, Earthworms do not eat spuds.
Bucket #3 - not blight, the skin goes bad first with blight.

My potatoes grown in buckets as I normally do every year, have produced many weird shapes this Year, that I have never ever seen previously, and I have been Gardening for over 70 years. Since I was a little lad with my Grandad.

😱😱😱😳😳😳🫪🫪🫪 Oh my goodness Pete !!!!! I’ve heard blight mentioned by people before but never expected anything like that 🫣🫣🤢🤮I really hope I don’t encounter anything like that when I harvest my main crop.Im sure you’ll have plenty more healthy specimens to come though 😊🌸

Knowing my luck I would have done a baked potato and cooked it not realising it was rotten until Mrs K gave me that look, well done Pete now you see why we mess with potatoes to get a big ugly one for the heavy potato at Malvern.

🥔Happy gardening, Terry King.

Hahahah!! I’m crying of laughing of you with all of that juice coming out of the potatoe and you decided it’s a good idea to smell it 😂😂😂 that seive is a genius idea! It’s a real shame about the rotting ones. But still a fabulous haul from what it’s came from! Well done mate! 💪🏼

Wow that’s amazing all from cuttings , didn’t know you could do that but makes sense I suppose like we do with tomato suckers. I need to go back and see how it’s done. Interesting we have those exact same buckets over here I’ve used them to grow salad potatoes from imported salad spuds that aren’t natively grown here.
