  I’d love to hear your perspective: What do you think about hierarchy in polyamory? Have you had any experience of hierarchy, positive or negative?

  This is really helpful, thanks for sharing! Currently in an interesting situation where I am dating someone who is in a longterm partnership with someone else and they also live together. So far it has been going well and they don't really restrict each other in their outside relationships. But it would be really good to have a talk with my date about more in depth terminology to use for our/their situation to really figure out for myself if this is what I want or not :)

  This is the most important topic within the Poly Community. This is where most, if not all, of my friends fail or are very sad in their lives. How many NM Poly folks would move to an M relationship if the person they fall in love with was amazing and fulfilled all of the check boxes?

  Brilliant - looking forward to the topic on kids. Honestly, I want the kids to know. We are living in a non-hierarchical polyamorous type of setup. And what we have learnt by entering this lifestyle, which we love - I want the kids to know is possible. My wife is worried about being judged by the kids, which I feel is missing the point.

  I&apos;m in what might be termed an explicit descriptive &nbsp;one-sided open relationship, where I am monogamous and she is polyamorous. Started with her cheating on me, but these days I have to control myself from asking her to have affairs, since its the biggest source of excitement for me to have her going out and having a good time with others. For me I stay monogamous to her, as its now a broader &apos;female led&apos; power dynamic.

  I have kids and am married. I&apos;m interested in what it looks like to not be hierarchical with kids and marriage with a nesting partner full time.
