I'm lucky, my family thought It was important that we know what small towns above Napoli all 4 grandparents came from. My Aunt brought as a child to USA would go back to the town she and my fathers parents were born in.<br>My mother put together papers for her 5 children with of all the information about our Families heritage, including names, towns & dates!<br>I'm glad she cared enough about our families history, so it could never be Lost & past on to our Families future generations!❤️<br>La Famiglia E Tutto!<br>(Translation)<br>Family is Everything !

Congratulations on this very unique study of Italian surnames, of which I am very proud. Finally, someone who speaks with the authority of having conducted research—unlike so many in this media outlet who spout pure nonsense. <br>Your analysis is very detailed and very accurate. The only thing I’d like to add is that surnames ending in “TTI”—such as Rossetti, Moretti, Gatti, and Benedetti—are from the north, from Tuscany.<br>Congratulations.
