With an Advantage Plan, just purchase a cancer policy or a hospital indemnity policy. They are good and reasonable and will pay you cash to help with your out of pocket.

An HSA account acts as the cancer indemnity plan too and it's free of premiums.

Currently, in the US... 90% of chemo is via infusion and only 10% is oral. That fact actually means Part B is where coverage comes from 90% of the time.

Helpful advice is to not use Texas's medicap rates as comparison. I'm not saying use New York because that's the opposite end of the spectrum. But here in Wisconsin our plan G equivalent is around $180 a month and I think that's a more accurate reflection of what the supplement costs. With our plan N it's around 137.

to see a doctor in new york or huston, drop advantage plan, go back to original medicare. what will be the cost for this situation?

What you left out is, if you meet your MA maximum at the end of the year, that 5400 quickly becomes 10,800 on Jan 1.
