Unbelievable that in our country we have more people employed in the health insurance industry than we have physicians and nurses. Most of our health care money is going into a system set up to block our own care.

You didn't mention that certain hospitals declined to except certain advantage plans.

In West Texas, healthcare is one monopoly, they are starting to terminate Medicare advantage plans already

Bottom line is that Medicare will be too expensive for most people. The result of that is more people will owe lots of money to doctors and hospitals. It’s definitely going to lead to more people dying

Funny how the government has MONEY for endless wars, but not enough money for healthcare.

I had that issue this year, where suddenly my doctor was not in my Medicare Advantage Plan's network, only I was never notified by either the doctor or insurance! I had a question before my yearly exam in April, and all of a sudden they said, "Oh...we can't see you. We don't accept your insurance anymore!" I called Wellcare, they shrugged and gave me two doctor choives: one way too far away since I use Uber, and one I went to and cannot stand. They only wanted to run a slew of unwanted tests, and charged the insurance $900 for a pneumonia vaccination! I may just go with Medicare, since I have no health issues other than hypothyroidism, and am not interested in tests I don't want.

Last time they cut my plan, third year running, I took that dump letter as my golden ticket to traditional Medicare. Hasta la vista Medicare Disadvantage.
