this is my favourite james bond of all time. space, nancy sinatra's theme song, little nelly, beautiful japan, a great final fight, blofeld reveal and a freaking volcano lair!!!

You Only Live Twice contains so many iconic memes: the huge volcano rocket recovery lair, Little Nellie, and rappelling Ninja army. An homage/parody of this was done in the Simpsons episode You Only Move Twice. It's my favorite Bond film - next to Goldfinger!

Donald Pleasence is one of my favourite actors. He's always great, whether it's this film, Halloween, The Great Escape, Fantastic Voyage, Escape From New York, etc.

The music and the sets -- the volcano lair, the underground monorail cars, the rockets, all the gleaming stainless steel and chrome -- are clearly the inspiration for The Incredibles
