As a middle easterner, these realist orientalist painters are some my favorites. These books desparately need to be printed more, academic or cultural stigma should not deter the sharing of these collections. <br><br>Thank you for sharing.

Great video ! Its insane how little there is on the Orientalists. Ramon Hurtado is someone teaches how the Orientalists were trained and talks a lot about that time period, his lectures are 10/10

The Yale Center for British Art did an good Orientalist show around 2007 or 2008. Could probably find a catalogue

The "ny" in Fortuny is pronounced like the spanish Ñ, it's a catalan surname.
