  Much appreciated from down under in Australia. I’d never get to see this otherwise and it’s like you looked in just the same way I would have, including the underneath views to see the texture and paint application. Please do more of this kind of video because we don’t all have access to these works of art so readily. Thank you again

  Zorn is an ikon here in Mora, Sweden, where he lived. There’s the Zorn Museum as well as the Anders and Emma Zorn’s home you can visit. Regarding his sculptural skills, there’s a small wooden head at the Zorn Museum, picturing his grandmother, that he made with a knife. I was stunned when I saw it the first time. The details and proportions are perfect and he was around eleven years old when he carved it, if I remember correctly. Coming from such a small town- it’s not even a city- he was an absolute giant, much too big for Mora.

  As someone who couldn’t get to Madrid I’m very grateful for the enterprising exhibition archive you created. It’s a fabulous resource. I only wish I could have seen the works in person.
