  Anyone who remembers the MG maestro knew they were streets ahead of the rest. A true great car.

  Excellent video. Nice car and i&apos;ve always liked them almost as much as my Montego Turbo which i&apos;ve owned for 35 years. You don&apos;t need words the smile on the face says it all and thats what its about.

  An ex’s mum had one of these at the time I had an XR3i. I used to love taking the Maestro for a spin. So quick.

  I had 3 maestro diesel vans, they were incredible vans, so reliable, amazing economy.

  They were quick cars back then and still are now. 150 bhp went a long way in something with less metal than an old quality street tin. The &apos;scort was sluggish in comparison. I remember my friends older brother buying a three year old model and we were all convinced it had been&apos;&quot;tweaked&quot; until it came back from the dealership with a fresh service and first MOT running even better still. It seemed to be good at getting through front tyres as I recall?? <br>The memory of the &apos;no fear&apos;, Kenwood, Fido dido rear window stickers is coming back to me!
