  Had a lawler autographed picture from 96 in savannah tn. The basement flooded and ruined it. That was like losing a mickey card

  Watching this on my PlayStation and headphones in not to wake my wife. Dutch Mantel’s version of Macho Man made me bust out laughing and I woke her up. <br><br>She makes it bad when you wake her up. Guess I didn’t know how funny that story was going to be. 😂

  I never realized that Tennessee was the number one state for pro wrestling in 70’s and 80’s. They had three territories at one point. CCW, CWA and the Poffo’s outlaw promotion

  I was born and raised right across the bridge from Memphis in Forrest City, AR. I grew up watching Mid-South Coliseum wrestling every Saturday morning. My Grandmother was a big time wrestling fan and she even took some of us grandkids to see it live on Monday night. We were up near ring-side and she was fired up. Those were great times and Jerry &quot;The King&quot; Lawler was more popular than Elvis at one point. I remember that event where Joe LeDuc threw Jerry Lawler out the ring and hit his leg like it was yesterday and I think I was only around 10 years old. Man, Lance Russell and Dave Brown on the call and Jimmy Hart acted a fool every weekend. Those of us who witnessed this had the best childhood. Thanks...

  Growing up my grandfather 🙏 and I would watch Memphis Wrestling every Saturday morning..we would work in tabacco all week and on the weekends it was wrestling and country music .. Saturday was Memphis Wrestling and Westerns and on Sunday morning my grandparents would listen to Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, Marty Robbins and the Statler Brothers to name a few..then we would watch Westerns.. wonderful memories..Jerry Lawler, Bill Dundee, Dirty Dutch Mantell and Jeff Jarrett were so much fun for the fans..thank you..

  I watch it when Jerry lawlor got hit. I was so mad that I wanted to help the king. Thank you guys for a great childhood memories

  My aunt said I used to jump off the bed screaming Jewwy Wawwla in the early 80s. Took me to a match in Memphis and it was the greatest thing ever. Been a Lawler fan my whole life. Also a Honky Tonk Man Fan
