  Kevin seems like such a kind, humble man.  He endured a lot of tragedy in his life.  He seems like he's doing OK (and I'm glad), but at the same time there is a sadness about him.  I hope that his remaining years are filled with nothing but good things.

  I had a very brief stint as a professional mma fighter. I was hooked on steroids and painkillers. The painkiller addiction had lasted the longest. I have to say from my own personal experience being hooked on opiates is one of the most horrible things to ever experience. I thank God every day for giving me the strength to break out of that literal hell on earth situation. It was so fucking scary being in that situation. Your whole entire purpose in life is feeding that disgusting addiction. After a while, the sole purpose of obtaining opiates is to avoid withdrawal.  The high is no longer there.  It becomes the only way to feel somewhat normal and not hurt as much.  It's just an extremely shitty existence.

  I'm here after watching "The Iron Claw", what a story! You can't mention professional wrestling without the Von Erichs, and WCCW. We champion the melodramas but the tragedies and their survivors also warrant attention and appreciation as well. I was born in 1988, but as a wrestling fan.. this is one the most important stories in professional wrestling history. May we remember the contributers to an art form that we all love! 🎉🌹♥️

  Kevin must be one of the strongest persons ever to endure all he has, to think of the ghosts that could haunt him but to go on with the grace and dignity he seems to have is a true testament to his strength. God bless you Kevin Von Erich.

  A Von Erich biopic put in the hands of a quality director would be an awarding winning flick! It's easily wrestling's most interesting and unbelievably heartbreaking story

  There was nothing like WCCW. Even today, nothing tops its gritty realistic feel. The Von Erichs, Freebirds and The Gentleman Chris Adams. I watched every Saturday . Couldn't wait. God bless and protect all those guys. The good old days. God bless you Kevin.
