Be careful! These speakers are unsuitable for a 2.1 system. When a subwoofer is connected, they send the full audio range to the speakers instead of cutting off the low frequencies. It’s terrible!

I disagree that it's not a soundbar replacement. I just got a display at my store and these things shit on the Sonos arc ultra, the bose lifestyle, and the LG sound suite in terms of clarity. Like if you don't give a damn about rear speakers and you don't pay for top dollar subscriptions for atmos the codas make more sense than a soundbar. Way better stereo imaging and the base is incredible for bookshelves. They go down to 41hz. I will say the app kinda sucks on it though but the clarity is crazy.

I'm just waiting for a company dark souls their power and speakers individually so I can use a processor and add a sub to do a Dolby Atmos system that's been on my mind for a very long time since Emotiva stealth 8's I thought they where going that way 🤷♂️ hope soon I can do this

Is it true that these speakers, if you connect a subwoofer, cut off the frequencies at 140 Hz and send that low frequency to the subwoofer, while the entire frequency range continues to go to the speakers themselves? If that’s the case, then it’s terrible...

I am trying to purchase my first serious speakers. Coda w vs Cambridge audio Evo one? I would like to use it for hdmi tv, listening to music and would like to plug through aux for guitar playing. Any suggestions?
