  My rookie year with the Washington Redksins I bought a set of KEF 104 Reference Series speakers. Still have them 40 years! Still cranking!

  I love KEF. I’ve had 3 pairs of KEF passive speakers. My first pair was the Q350. I got the R3 after that. Currently I’ve got the Reference 1 Meta. They are staying with me. I love them.

  Yes, Kef &apos;Eggs&apos; were (are) a thing. I have three in my line of sight right now. Must have had them 25+ years, paired with a Rel sub. They sound absolutely great.

  Enjoyed the review Mark. &nbsp;I can really see these selling well despite the price given the quality and the smaller footprint. &nbsp;Not everyone wants a lot of gear in the room to listen to music.

  Of course they sound amazing. &nbsp;They are designed to take every limitation of the already excellent LS 50 Meta and address them with the larger driver and Veco. &nbsp;They should play louder, deeper, and cleaner than the LS 50 Metas, which makes them within the limitations of their driver size an edge of the art bookshelf capable of playing up to 100-105 db into the 40&apos;s. &nbsp;In that size, and being a complete system with those aesthetics, they are already a classic and a category killer, and $4k a pair is a bargain. Once again KEF raises the bar, and every audiophile is the winner.

  Agreed: I’ve owned 7 KEF products and loved them all, currently own : R11’s , a pair of headphones and KEF XIO. I’m waiting for KEF to produce something that I can attach rear speakers to my XIO wirelessly?

  I&apos;m using the KEF LSX II LT as near-field desktop speakers on risers with a 42&quot; LG C2 OLED for my monitor and hot diggity dang it&apos;s SUCH AN AMAZING SETUP. &nbsp;They&apos;re going for $500 at costco leading me to believe they are the absolute best deal in Audio currently. &nbsp;Also hooked up an 8&quot; subwoofer, man is gaming a pure joy with this setup. &nbsp;Those look pretty cool but way too big and expensive for desktop use!
