  I use the AMP ultra with Legacy Focus speakers. &nbsp;These are 4 ohm but run down lower than 4 at some freq. &nbsp;No problem. &nbsp;I had TWO sets of Legacy Focus. Identical. So, I ran ALL four of them for 2 ohms. I ran it this way at high volume and for weeks. &nbsp;The Amp ultra will drive 2 ohm no problem. &nbsp; I have owned the amp, the amp pro and now the ultra, The ultra is a BIG step up as it has DUAL amps inside the box. This is often overlooked by reviewers. 2 ohms for a single chip is actually in spec as per the data sheets. &nbsp;Another big advantage is if you decide you want a Home Theatre. &nbsp;You can add another AMP, Amp pro or Ultra to drive the rear speakers with NO wires running back I stashed the amp pro on the side of the couch. I have Legacy Signatures as the rears with a 15-inch sub I built. &nbsp; The fronts are the focus and the legacy Sub. &nbsp;You can add a center channel as well. &nbsp;It just works. Theres no delay. The experience of a movie is amazing. &nbsp; &nbsp;All of my expensive golliath amps are gone. &nbsp;There is absolutely no need. The ultra sounds better, even at high volume.

  WiiM (Linkplay) and similar emerging brands have been exceptionally aggressive in sending out free review tracks to hundreds of YouTubers.<br><br>If a small or medium-sized YouTuber gives a device a poor rating, the manufacturer will no longer send them the next new product for pre-testing.<br><br>Without previews, the channel loses views because it can&apos;t get the video out on release day. This creates unconscious or direct pressure to praise the device as &quot;great for its price range.&quot;

  Wiim amp ultra handles 4 ohm speakers just fine.

  Thinking of pairing this wiim ultra with an older pair of q acoustics 3020i speakers attached to my &apos;old&apos; sony tv via hdmi arc. For use in a smallish room. Want better sound than the &apos;dinky&apos; bose computer speakers I&apos;ve been using. Need more/better sound for dialogue for sure. I guess any music will be totally better. Thoughts? Thanks. OT: just wanted to thank you guys for the review work you did on the wharfedale super denton speakers. I&apos;ve had &apos;em hooked up since last February 2026 and i love &apos;em.

  Love my Wiim Amp Ultra, have it paired with Magnat Transpuls 1000s, and after a bit of an EQ adjustment, &nbsp;the system sounds amazing to me.

  At 4ohms this unit outputs 200 watts so your struggle wasn’t the impedance but the poor efficiency of that speaker. Highly efficient speakers will produce far more volume than speakers with efficiency ratings in the mid 80’s db/1 watt/1 meter

  i use 90s Japanese stereo with beautiful sound due to &nbsp;built in equalizer, will WiiM ultra sound the same if I tweak its Equalizer? its more like a software base control which i think is not as good as oldies AB class with sliders/buttons, dedicated DSP cards/Chips with premium Elna/Nichicon caps. to set equalizer.

  I have wiim amp &nbsp;ultra paired with elac debut 6.3 and Rel Tzero MKIII.... &nbsp;sound is outstanding, warm, clear, excellent app.....
