I've tried inktober so many times. this year I'm doing weekly, and picking a few prompts from that week. I'm allowing myself a lot of leniency because I'm not starting out with a routine in the first place. this video was a very helpful reminder to be less harsh with oneself. something is better than nothing.

What a great set of tips! I hope new people use this to feel brave and reassured that it doesn’t have to be an overwhelming experience. I cheated and already drew three of them, because I couldn’t wait 😄 I’ll definitely be skipping some if I can’t get any fun ideas of something I actually want to draw that day. I’m setting a goal for finishing 20 of the 31 days, but won’t stress out if I don’t make it. I’m already having a great time. Cheers!

First time doing Inktober. Total newbie. Never inked a day in my life except with fineliner pens. It’s going to be fun. I’m already dazzled by the amazing talents participating. I’m going to try using a dip pen for the first time. My efforts will be all sorts of terribly , hilariously clumsy, I’m sure, but heck, I’ll make everyone look good, haha! Cheering for all of you!

Самое главное - не относиться к мероприятию слишком серьезно. Перестать сравнивать себя с другими, не ожидать внимания и одобрения. Рисовать для себя каждый день. Отличное видео, очень красивые рисунки!

I tried Inktober years ago and I didn&apos;t get any likes, so I quit doing it. I&apos;ve gotten much better and tried Inktober several times after, yet I never finished an Inktober. I never shared after that year though.<br>After Inktober 2 years ago I decided to turn the daily prompts of Inktober into a monthly prompt and turned each month over the past 2 years into a month of studying a single promt.
