Piplup and Pikachu can definitely be considered Best friends since they both don’t want to evolve and have deep connections with their trainers

Piplup had quite an arduous yet joyous journey of his own 🐧😌

Just like Ash's Bulbasaur, Piplup proved he doesn't need to evolve to perform. But the cute non fully evolved Water starter premise would later run out of steam and make everyone mad at the staff when Piplup met his copycat in the form of Oshawott.

Dawn's ace partner from the Diamond and Peral series (seasons 10-13) who started from a stubborn/sensitive little penguin into a proud-performing cutie pie.

I really loved the handful of times when the homing Draco Meteor was used to help the group. There were a few times when Piplup was separated from the group and Gible used DM to locate it, and then there was an episode where a couple of Ditto were playing pranks on the group and one was disguised as Piplup, and Gible used DM to figure out which one was real

Plot Twist : that scene at the beginning of DP <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZituhVFgWI&amp;t=30">0:30</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZituhVFgWI&amp;t=60">1:00</a> inspired the messy room in the BW games!
