What would happen to these studies if the genomes of the people killed by the Black Death were included?

The overarching lesson of all these videos is that people get around and they will do it.

They probably easily blended in with the local population. My grandchildren have one grandparent of African decent all other grandparents are white. The kids are white.

No, they changed a part of the island into England not all of it. Other than that an incredibly interesting video.

Genetic studies can be grossly inaccurate no matter how sophisticated the technology for the simple fact that DNA isn't transferred in even amounts over the generations. When chromosomes duplicate in order to produce sperm and egg cells they break apart and reform thereby mixing the copies together. But the breaks do not come in even amounts. Every individual gets half of his DNA from each parent, but he doesn't get an even 1/4 from each grandparent. Over time parts of every individual's genetic ancestry gets eliminated from his personal genome.

We know from documentary history that Charles III is a direct descendant of William the Conqueror and that much of his ancestry is French. But Charles' personal genome is mostly German and Danish because his genes are a reflection of his most recent ancestors.
