  Just about everyone loves Bush beans. &nbsp;I love the fact that Mr. Bush became an entrepreneur and an employer to those who truly needed the jobs. Not to mention the fact that he bought the children shoes. What a positive and awesome story. ❤ it. Thanks for another good one J.D.

  I love this story! I&apos;m so glad he stayed true to his home town and his values that his mama taught. He pulled his town out of poverty. And gave a better life to the people who called this town home. ❤

  He had a drive in his soul to help folk understand and gain a little control in their lives. Education was the basis. Next, they needed access to food and supplies using a bartering system. And then the forward thinking AJ brought in the idea of supply and demand and created an industry there. At each step, the classroom of neighbors were being primed to handle what would come next in their journey to sufficiency and freedom. And AJ did it all without the promise of a decent income or perks or retirement. My hat is off to Mr AJ and Miss Sarah !

  Chestnut Hill, TN is what I call my little piece of Paradise. I am blessed to be married to a &quot;Nut Hill&quot; Man and I have had the honor of meeting a lot of the Wonderful People here in Chestnut Hill, both native &amp; transplants. I have also had the honor of cleaning the headstones at the cemetery that you were at and getting to know many of the people that are buried there along with the Bush Family. No, I haven&apos;t seen any ghost yet, even though I keep my eyes &amp; ears open when I am there, but through researching the families and how everyone is connected either through blood and/or marriage. There are preachers, teachers, and moonshiners buried there. There is a bank robber that was executed for killing a sheriff here in East Tennessee when he escaped prison in the early 1900&apos;s that is buried in an unmarked grave next to his mother buried there. There&apos;s mistresses, and their children, cousins, and in-laws. There are soldiers and scandals. I have learned that the people here from Chestnut Hill are hardworking, resourceful, God Loving, Great People and I am blessed to be married into one of the Bush Family neighbors that have been in this community long before it was even a state. Thank You for highlighting a little piece of a Great Place and one of the Great Men from a Wonderful Community.
