  Finish your paint job, no matter how the model looks in the meantime. Even if the voice in your head gets louder and louder, telling you: this looks bad, it won't work, start over. Finish the model, stick to your plan, and look at the final result. You'll usually be proud and satisfied, and you'll have learned something along the way. And if you really don't like something, you can always change it.

  Vince- One of the AHA moments, from you, is touch-wicking the brush on a piece of paper towel to remove excess moisture and paint, which is not only for dry brushing. It is simple but over looked and is a game changer! Thanks for the always teachable moments, both in-person and on here!

  Learning to unload the brush for glazing and general paint consistency was the single biggest improvement I made. Overnight, my faces were better, my lines were cleaner, and I could dot those eyes that would have just flooded before.

  Seeing the errant off white streak fall on the highlighted cloak was the best lesson. Seeing this happen to someone with as much recognition and prestige that you have earned in this hobby is appreciated. You are human, after all. Thank you, Vince.

  Excellent information as always. Thanks Vince. I do remember accidentally discovering that the side of the brush is best for edge highlighting when I accidentally highlighted a bolter trying to get paint on a chest emblem.<br>I thought I&apos;d discovered something akin to cold fusion that day. LOL

  A piece of advice I would give to painters of all abilities is that improvement often happens in a jump, then plateaus. However during the plateau you are able to paint much, much quicker. <br><br>So if you’re looking to paint the way you do, but more quickly, try to push yourself and it’ll have that knock on effect!
