  Really enjoyed your blog. I too didn’t want to live with anyone else so I purchased the land and built a modest home literally next door to my partner’s house. I initially went for a two week visit to meet the family and friends liked it so much I stayed for 6 years ..best thing I have ever done…looking forward to more of your blogs.😁

  Our first Thai house was next to the in-laws, it was ok but we ended up with a 2nd house in a town by the river Mekong about 20km away which I am much happier with..

  Phetchabun is a province with beautiful weather. &nbsp;On the cool all year round There are many tourist attractions. both pre-history and nature, including the culture of the hill tribes and traditional indigenous people

  I spent some time 40 years ago living near Choen Dan. Petchaboon with my wife—too hot for us; we prefer the cooler temps here in Chiang Mai. Petchaboon is a great place, but speaking Thai is a must-have. I hope you have learned; it&apos;s the only way to stay sane...

  That house is perfect. My wife and I are getting ready to set up a small place like that on some of her family land. I set up a nice “ hobby shop” &nbsp;for cats here and found it nice to get some local people to help us. Do-home ! 1000 employees per store ! 😅 This is an easy life here in Surin .
