Hey Bob. Will you ever split singles above a double screen board? Or, relegate that method just for doubles?

Wow, slab of pollen and slabs of brood. I can hardly wait. I know the feeling, dive in and the need to determine the plan at hand. What an exciting video

Glad you got home safely. We really appreciated your visit and for me, it was just a treat to get to know you and Kevin a bit better over the weekend. Blessings to you and your crew!

Great to see all three of you excited to get out in the field. Enjoyed the beginning commentary and the Hands-On filming of you equalizing your singles and nucs. Of course, as you know here in Northern California it has been a couple of months of preparation for Almond pollination. Putting on supplements to encourage at least two brood cycles to begin hatching before the bloom, grading frames of bees in response to a good set within the flowers for the owners. Plus hauling your colonies into the orchards, only to return to make sure that your bees are gathering pollen for both the Almond grower's sake and for the beekeeper's well-being too. And equalizing our own colonies at the same time making sure those strong hives don't starve before the nectar flow. Fun time of the year though. Spring is such a good time to see new bees in your hives. Either for increase or build up, to sell nukes or frames of brood, shake bulk bees, and maybe just the chance to finally catch up or rebuild from any winter losses. So, have fun, love the hard work, and happiness to all at the start of this new year. May 2025 be a bummer crop for your Sourwood honey, that I know you like. Thanks also for the heads up on Keith Delaplane. 🐝
