Thank you for this video. It's the first time hearing this reason for why commercial outfits use a finishing hive for cells. In that they get a better product from the bees not being in emergency replacement mode. As a smaller operation, and not needing my starter to work a second batch of cells, and therefore not moving to a finisher hive, this explains why my cells are always smallish.

I've been a beekeeper for 42 years I am a sideliner never keeps more than 80 or 90 hives. I got to say you're pretty slick <br>You definitely know your stuff I very much appreciate seeing somebody run a business so well-organized. At least it appears so on the YouTube video and this is the first one of your videos I've ever seen.
