Just so everyone is aware, the xbox 360 NEEDS a harddrive for OG xbox backwards compatibility. Learned that the hard way when I bought a 4gb slim 360 back in the day.

resellers, scalpers, and greedy people really ruined goodwill honestly. It used to be a treasure trove for the less fortunate people, then covid happened along with a retro video game craze now in most locations you won't even find a single video game.

You have to be in a VERY specific area to get a decent Goodwill experience at this point. Goodwill sucks so bad now. I used to go there for cheap things I couldn't afford elsewhere, now they want like $25 for a moldy coffee maker you can just buy in store brand new for cheaper. That business has gotten so insanely greedy.

3:34 that is so much dust, that DKOldies could give a seal of approval on that.

Goodwill is greed incarnate. Everything they sell is donated yet they ask retail prices or near retail. A large portion of their workforce is paid poorly and in general, the stores are unkempt and hazardous. I love going to my local goodwill store and seeing 2.5 inch 250GB 5400 rpm hard drives for $10, drives they pulled from donated laptops they then place on the shelf as "untested" and ask $40 per. F Goodwill.

I just went to this Santa Ana Goodwill this morning. I was shocked (SHOCKED I tells ya) at the prices. Almost new laptops for around $100. Huge monitors for less than $100. Just so much stuff for great prices. Thanks for letting me know about this gold mine!

Being able to just swap out batteries is a godsend and I will absolutely fucking die on that hill.

Like literally, get some rechargables and you're golden.

I went to a tech high school and created the DDR club. Lots of fun, we used to compete with other schools. When won a few tournaments.

An extra goodwill tip: if an item is put up/ out for sale and it doesn't sell at the price they set after a month you can mention it/ ask about it and they can lower the price on the item. That is how I got a basically brand new towel warmer that they marked at $200 originally for only I think $40 or less. It was a while ago so I could be off on the price but it was a steal and I'm so glad an employee mentioned that they could do that when I originally saw it and mentioned wanting it

This tip is more helpful in areas where good stuff stays around longer in the store and might not be possible at all locations or certain employees might not be able to reprice an item for you so don't be rude and demand that they have to do it. Also don't ask them to do it when there is a long line for the register and the store is busy

15:05 OMG, my roommate in college had this thing. I didn't even know he had it until the day before finals and he was desperate to get a paper done. He was going to drag his desk out into the hallway, so the light wouldn't disturb me. I told him if he could handle my snoring then I could handle the light. When my alarm went off in the morning, he must have finished minutes before because the light was out and he was in bed, but my glow-in-the-dark stuff was still glowing bright.
