I am so glad I found this series of instructional videos! I have struggled through innumerable lectures by people who truly seem to understand electronic principles but who do not demonstrate the verbal acuity necessary to explain them to novices. You have a rare gift.

You proved that when there is a good tutor and a thirsty leaner, then a teacher need just a pen and white paper or white board. Both does not need fancy tablets and fancy software and crap. simple, a pen, Knowledge, way to deliver knowledge and a white board.

Going through some basics again, and got myself in a knot. In a BJT circuit what's the situation on where to place the load in relations to the supply and the collector??? Looking at NPN and PNP I seem to have different answers for different reasons. The simplest seems on a NPN between the "+ve" and the collector, and on a PNP between the collector and the "-ve". Like a lot of things the more I google the more I just get confused as to "why?". I imaging with my level, successfully lighting an LED if I get lucky, it's not making much difference. But just keen to understand.
