  Watching that video hit me with an overwhelming wave of pure hunger and sheer validation, making me instantly want to drop everything, sprint to the warehouse, and clear out the meat aisle just so I could experience the ultimate joy of cooking an incredible steak without completely emptying my bank account.

  hiya frank,since I found you,(couple of months back,I’ve never looked at any other butchers program,right,I’m from Derbyshire England,UK,I’m 73,and for about 50yrs was a slaughterman,I take no pleasure from saying that,and you can say,well,someone has to do it,I’ve shopped at Costco for donkeys years,but last time I was stopped in my tracks,I bought a large tray of lamb chump chops,(I go for all my steaks at roughly inch and half),after cooking them for my family,was cleaning up and noticed In tiny letters was the dreaded word halal,I was horrified,yes,I should have checked more thoroughly,my fault entirely,I’m absolutely horrified that this barbaric slaughter has been approved in the uk,all this has bought me to an aweful crossroads in my life,as much as I love meat well,I get it on my plate and have a conscience attack realiseing how it got on my plate,oh how I wish I’d never seen inside an abattoir,what starts as a animal,turns into a carcass,now it all comes back to haunt me!..ps,I know you ain’t got the answers,but love watching you!,greetings from across the pond,regards,Derek…..

  Thanks for the info on the different cuts of meat. I'm not sure when you created these videos, but there is no way buying the whole piece is half of what the cut steaks are.  They are only less than $1 cheaper.  It didn't seem worth the effort for me.  Also the prices are quite a bit higher these days.
