In our market (Oregon) chuck eye was discovered years ago and the prices reflect it. Easily double the price that it was 8 years ago. But yes.. awesome cut either way.

Honestly stopped buying cut steaks at costco after finding out they blade tenderize almost everything. If you like your steak medium rare, you're better off buying a primal cut and slicing it yourself at home.

Entertaining presentation but I have to call FOUL. There are ways to help chuck to be more tender (less of a jaw workout) but a few minutes more or less searing and resting ain't it. The crock pot for several hours is the standard way but I like my steak medium rare so I sous vide mine for six to twenty four hours depending on the cut. A lot of it goes into the pot. But, I can't argue; it taste great and the price is right. 🥴🤗
