  Donaldson Brown Historic Cemetary. &nbsp;I looked it up. 173 Memorial records. It says it&apos;s a German Cemetary. Thank you Alex for cleaning this. God bless you🤗🙏🏼🇺🇸

  The man who died in 1913 with the military headstone was a Civil War Union soldier with the 99th Indiana Infantry. &nbsp;I&apos;m with the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and we are constantly cleaning out cemeteries and restoring graves.

  The rectangular gravesite is that of a baby or small child, I believe. It says Asleep in Peace. We have many historic cemeteries here in Houston and the babies/young children always have markers like this. I think it&apos;s supposed to mimic a small bed. I&apos;ve seen many in the same style. <br>Thank you Alex, for taking the time to clean up and restore dignity that looks to have been missing for a very long time. ❤

  Clean ups of old cemeteries are some of my favorite videos. I have an 1800s cemetery on my front lawn. We bought the land and built knowing it was there. Oldest stones are from people born in the early to mid 1700s, 3 generations of one family. We rake it and try to keep it nice. They were here first, it’s the least we could do. The fact that this cemetery you are cleaning has people that passed only 20 years ago, makes it sad to see it fall into such a state, so thank you for cleaning it.

  We live in a fast paced consumer society where we soon learn to forget those that came before us. I think it sad when historic cemeteries are left to decay. Thank you for your hard work in cleaning this one. The dead deserve respect.
