  C'mon, you need to report everything you found to the sheriff.  Surely, with the vehicle's license plate and, perhaps, info on the cell phone, they should be able to ID whomever they belong(ed) to.  A wider search of the general area might just turn up some lost soul's body.  After an investigation, you then need to do a followup video to let your viewers know what was found.

  This looks eerily similar to the disappearance of Jeffrey Kirkland that the EWU team investigated in Pershing County Nevada. He was eventually found deceased by a rancher after having taken shelter in an abandoned telephone relay building.

  “Abandoned” depends on whose history you’re telling. The heater and insulation suggest that long after this place stopped being a workplace, someone was making it a home. Archaeologists have to separate different episodes of use because objects found together needn’t have arrived together. That honestly makes me cautious about treating the phone as evidence of one sudden departure. These later, easily overlooked chapters are what I look for when filming places for my channel. Dave went looking for mining history and found something much more personal. A place can disappear from the economy without disappearing from someone’s life!

  I looked up this vehicle with the license plate number. <br>&quot;2000 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA <br>LICENSE PLATE: 4JDL818 <br>STYLE/BODY: SEDAN/SALOON <br>COUNTRY OF ASSEMBLY: MEXICO<br>You can get details from the California Dpt of Public Records if you want to pay for them. That would tell us if it was stolen or not and who owned it last. I think it&apos;s just $1.00.
