  I'm 73 and my mom started using jiffy mixes when they became available. Raising my kids I used a lot of these recipes and gotta lot compliments. I'm still making these recipes today. They never get tiring especially when you're on a fixed income. God bless everyone 🙏🏼

  I worked at a local hospital for 25 yrs. The cafeteria served a special meal (Lunch and dinner) once a week. I asked the department manager, on numerous occasions, for a special meal to be breakfast. The answer was always, &quot;No people won&apos;t eat pancakes for dinner&quot;. <br>The local McDonalds started to serve pancakes every Thursday from 4pm. I thought what the heck. There was a new cafeteria manager. I asked .............He said, &quot;No, people won&apos;t eat pancakes for dinner&quot;. I was ready for that &quot;No&quot;. &quot;McDonalds down the street serves pancakes after 4pm on Thursdays. The Waffle House diner serves breakfast all day. IHOP offers breakfast all day. Your &quot;NO&quot; falls flat&quot;. .....................A week later the special meal was breakfast. People loved it!

  I am 79 and I have been eating Jiffy products for many years. I love the muffin mix the best.

  My mother never used Jiffy mix, and never once made cornbread of any kind.<br>She did use Bisquick, and Impossible Taco Pie was one of her favorite things. <br>In the last months of her life she requested me to make it at least once a week.

  I am a 79 year old female and would like to point out the comparison between what people used to look like back in my days compared to the way they look these days, slender in my days and overweight and obese these days because the way the majority of people eat these days. Fast food places on every corner, take out, eating out, pre packaged junk in grocery stores that are loaded with preservatives nobody can pronounce. In my days the family still ate together at the dinner table no grab and go like in these days with someone sitting in one room eating and others somewhere else staring at the television or having their faces buried in a cell phone. Not everything modern in our society is progress, it is just the opposite when you see people running around all over with their faces glued to some sort of electronic devise they can’t seem to live without!

  Calico bread from two boxes of jiffy mix , a roll of Jimmy Dean sausage , fried with peppers , onions , then a can of creamed corn . Cheddar cheese on top at the last few minutes , then serve with creamed corn in the bottom of the bowl . My MOM taught me this and it is a favorite .❤

Two boxes, a can of cream corn and one can of whole kernel corn, with a little salt, pepper and tspn of sugar. The corn fritters came out of the hot frying oil and then sprinkled with salt. DELICIOUS. I still make these today!

  My mom&apos;s pantry never had anything boxed. Not cake, breads, nothing. Everything was scratch.

  Thank you Mom❤. Rosemarie You’ll be 88 this Oct 7th. Outliving Carrie 👒♋️ to whom you introduce me to in 1984. You knew what it took to fully nurture your son all these years💕. By the days , I’m finding it harder to believe you’re the only one here that knows the whole story. And then some. 👥. As I sit here digesting all the love that filled your heart , by providing me life’s nutrients that has been fueling my soul to this day. 🌹
