I watch your channel because of you, not for all the games. There are a million channels that cover the latest and greatest game. The reason I like and watch your content is because you offer a wonderful and different viewpoint than many others, on whatever content you’re talking about. You’re very well spoken with an honest and open take on various gaming topics. I feel like you would actually dilute your quality by covering all the new games.

Even today’s video, this is great stuff. I’m guilty of going to HLTB.. but lately I’ve decided to say “screw it” and just play, get lost, enjoy the game for what it is, and how I want to experience it. It’s really a lesson that transfers to life. Being present wherever you are. Put your phone down, give your 100% attention to where you are, who you are with, whatever you are doing. It’s too easy to be distracted with a million things. I have 4 kids… I would know.. lol. I’m really trying to bring more peace and slowness back into my life, amid the chaos of being parent. Another excellent video, thank you.

I always like to unwind after my day job, and play a game.

I had two weeks of vacation and was able to finish ff7 remake and Metroid prime 4 and start Cronos the new dawn. I noticed a difference in the enjoyment. When I work I don't have time, energy or the pleasure to enjoy the games, and that's when I noticed that a lot of things distract us from enjoyment in the daily stressful life: playing music, food, family, talk and listening, games, movies, books.

I'm 39 and I just feel the same, started to read again and pretty much slow down. I'm currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and it's such a great game that deserves to be savored.

Mine is no man's sky. Just getting lost in different universes and exploring planets and just doing whatever I feel like doing at that point in time.

I'm replaying TOTK on a much slower pace and I realized how much I missed just because I was so obsessed on just moving forward to the next big thing, now I'm enjoying every sunset I see in the game 🎴

I'm 73 and back into gaming after 20 years and I'm 20 minutes into Hoa on my beloved Steam Deck. And I'm chasing butterflies for a floating larvae. lol. It's cozy over conflict for me. There's enough of that in our grander illusion.
