Great video! I mostly fish chatterbaits without the skirt so I can use lighter gear/line and keep it much deeper in the water column. I learned this totally by mistake. I had an original that the skirt came off, so I replaced the normal trailer with a minnow. I have caught way more fish this way than with a traditional setup.

I live in NY. Have you ever fished Onondaga lake in Syracuse NY? The bass get huge there because the lake is polluted so no one keeps them. I have reeled in more 5+ pounders this summer than I can keep track of. I use the baby bass colored jackhammer with a matching zako trailer and they love it. Its the perfect size of all the baby bass I see swimming around. The berkley moeba and the Zman gobius kill it there too.
