as a drummer i can't stress how amazing it was when rick allen lost his arm in that car accident and relearned completely how to play the drums again with one less limb than any other drummer out there and still be better than most of them lol he's a legend! and the band deciding NOT to replace him but instead wait for him to figure it out and then start rocking again once he was ready. that's loyalty you don't find now days

I don't think it can be stressed enough how HUGE this song, the album and the group was. They were mainstream. Absolute legends. (and yes, you missed the one arm drummer)

I took my daughter to see these guys for her 14th birthday. A lightning strike took out the electricity. They didn’t miss a beat. The singer just yelled out “you are gonna have to be quiet”. And they jumped to acoustic till the power came back on. DID NOT MISS A LICK. Pure professionalism. For the life of me I can’t remember the actual song.

Dude, Def Leppard is hard. Did you not notice the one-armed drummer? He was in an accident in England, and the band still kept him as their drummer. This band is EPIC!!!

Blown away that after that still frame with Rick sitting there. Not a single word of his incredible ability to play high quality drums with only one arm. It’s as if he wasn’t really watching

Fun fact: I was at the filming of this video. 1988 in Denver. They played 2 nights. I was 14. One of my favorite memories.
