  Rick Allen (drummer) was in a car accident in 1984.He lost his left arm.For two years he taught himself how to play drums again.The band waited.He has a customized drum kit & foot pedals to help him play what he used to before the accident

  **I went to this concert!! They filmed this song the night I was there. They asked the audience if they could play the song twice to get the video right. And, of course, the audience went crazy and screamed "HellYeah"! They also asked for all the hot girls to come down and surround the stage! Tesla opened for them. What a match for that night. Maybe the best concert I ever been to!" Thank for the memories!

  Rick Allen the drummer, lost his left arm in a car accident, when he was only 21 years old. He was close to depression, but his group said that no one would replace him, and they waited for him until he could recover and learn to play again. True loyalty and friendship.

  For anyone new to Def Leppard (especially you youngins out there), the drummer, Rick Allen, lost his arm in a car accident back in 1984. Most bands would’ve replaced him—but not these guys. They said, “You're still our drummer.” Rick learned to play with a custom electronic kit using his feet and one arm. That’s not just determination—that’s brotherhood. Respect the legends.

  Def Leppard was one of the best Hair metal bands of all time, and this song Is my Favorite.  When this song came out, EVERYONE would crank it and we all sang along.  The 80s were hands down the best Era of music. Gen X baby! Thx so much for doing this one, I jammed so hard on this.

  When concerts were CONCERTS, fans weren't watching behind a phone and and everyone had a cigarette lighter, even if they didn't smoke.  Music will never be this way again... AWESOME!

  When you reacted to Rock of Ages, Rick had two arms. This song/album was after his car accident and rehabilitation. They were not going to replace him; he had been with the band since he was 15 years old. They did try to reattach his arm but it failed. December 19, 1987 I saw this leg of the tour in Greensboro, NC. We were all dying to see Rick play. Oh man did they let us see! The concert was “in the round”, a round stage in the middle of the coliseum floor that would slowly rotate so we could all see Rick play. And I’m thankful I got to see them with Steve Clark (RIP) before he passed. They are still touring. Catch a show sometime if you can. You will not be disappointed. 🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️❤️❤️
