  This is a representation of NZ haka and the First Nation Australian unity dance (meaning the coming together of different indigenous clans to do their war cry). Beautiful on both sides. Every country in the world needs to watch this. Absolutely powerful!

  Australia and NZ are “brothers” we are both young countries who have a deep respect for each other. We are different “tribes” who are connected by the same seas.

  Pukana. The tongue, bulging eyes, chin jutting, head movements are all aggressive facial expressions that aim to intimidate the enemy. Men stick out the tongue,  women push out the chin. The cry is to inspire courage and call on the gods. Australia and New Zealand indigenous squaring off like two dogs. Beautiful sight. In the burbs the Maori and Aboriginal dispense with this display and go straight to the battle. 😂 Tiki Taane - Tangaroa God of the Sea👍  Teeks- Te Ahi Kai Po,  live at Auckland town hall. 👍 A song of grief about a battle between the British and the Maori in which all the Maori in the area were eradicated. Maori culture is beautiful in all its expressions.

  At the end they performed the Māori greeting of sharing breath by pressing their forehead together. Great video and reaction. I am Australian and felt very emotional watching this.

  As an Aussie, man i love our kiwi brothers and sisters anzacs always and forever i don&apos;t know if many neighbouring countries have that relationship like we do!

  In Australia today, there are still about 200 indigenous languages. &nbsp;Many aboriginal kids today are starting to learn their ancient languages again while rediscovering their culture. &nbsp;During their war dance you saw traditional weapons and the pipe you heard was the unique sound of the didgeridoo. &nbsp;Australia and New &nbsp;Zealand have a very special relationship. &nbsp;They are our cousins across the ditch, and we all know the Haka very well. &nbsp;It’s great to see the respect both teams showed each other before the game.

  Also something that hasn&apos;t been mentioned yet, when the Aboriginal team were dancing and you mentioned the man that was crawling, they will imitate different animals or &apos;totems&apos; of their particular &apos;tribe&apos; , Goanna, Emu, Kangaroo etc.
