As an American growing up watching football and then marrying an Irish lady who introduced me to rugby, there is no other sport in the world that compares. Just finished super Saturday in the Six Nations where there was rugby on all day long and all three matches were some of the best games I’ve seen.

Watch some games. You won’t be disappointed.

Shouting "what is that!?" upon seeing a scrum and lineout for the very first time is so unbelievably valid

Rugby is the only sport I know of with a "blood replacement" - if you're bleeding too much, you get replaced while you're stitched up, then you go back on.

The greatest sport real men ever played. No crying, no complaining, no pretending to be hurt…in fact, a lot of pretending NOT to be hurt!
