This is a true story of a rainy night in South London. Mark heard a band playing and walked into an almost empty bar with a band that wasn’t necessarily great but were in it for the love of music, not the money.

Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitarists ever, he plays without a pick most of the times and plays on a "normal" right handed guitar while he is left handed, he is also a great songwriter, he released 10 solo albums after Dire Straits quit, his last one in 2024 and he also wrote music for 8 movies. Have you ever heard the song "Private Dancer" by Tina Turner? Mark Knopfler also wrote that.

This song was a masterpiece! The seventies were just dripping with excitement music! The Sultans Of Swing was my younger brother's very favorite and I loved it too, but we played his Dire Straits tape over and over in my first car until we wore it out! Thank you both for this review! I loved it!❤❤❤
