  Bohemian Rhapsody just hit #1 again on 2 different charts here in the UK.. 2025, 50 yrs after it was released. This song will be played FOREVER!!

  It’s a Rock Opera.  Get a group of seniors in their sixties and they’ll sing all the words.   We all love watching younger people react to the music we had in our high school and college years.  The fabulous 70’s with tons of genres and we loved them all.

  Not made for a movie but it's used in Waynes World and it's the best part of the movie. This song always ranks high in the best rock songs of all time. It's a masterpiece 💜🎶

  Brian May said the meaning of this song was only in Freddie's head and never said what it meant because he wanted the listener to interpret the song for themselves. Freddie himself said he had 3 songs he hadn't finish then put them together and  that's how Bohemian Rhapsody came about.

  &apos;Bohemian Rhapsody&apos; was originally this piano ballad that Freddie Mercury had written... but once in the studio in 1976, he was inspired by opera music to add more sections to it... The track ended up having nearly 200 overdubs in the studio because Freddie kept layering tracks to make the song sound &apos;bigger&apos;... to the point the tape nearly wore out and they had to make a copy to preserve their work.<br>Freddie sang the intro, layering his own vocals... Then, the middle section featured Freddie, guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor of Queen layering their vocals to sound like a choir... <br>Freddie pushed Roger Taylor to sing &apos;Galileo&apos; higher and higher. <br><br>Queen&apos;s 4th album &apos;A night at the Opera&apos; was the most expensive record made to that point in 1975 and put the band deep in debt... They felt &quot;Bohemian Rhapsody&quot; was special but it was 6 minutes long and British radio at the time was not keen giving airplay to epic tracks... So, Queen gave a copy to prominent UK DJ who put it on the air and it exploded that year - going to #1 and pushed sales of &apos;A night at the Opera&apos;... to 3 million copies in the US alone. <br>Overnight, Queen went from playing clubs and small venues to playing arenas across the world by 1976. <br><br>In 1992, the comedy movie &quot;Wayne&apos;s World&quot; featured &apos;Bohemian Rhapsody&apos; on the soundtrack and it became a top 10 hit again across the world, just months after Freddie Mercury passed away in late 1991... It renewed Queen&apos;s record sales in the US after a decade of decline. <br><br>In 2018, the success of the Freddie Mercury biopic movie &apos;Bohemian Rhapsody&apos;... pushed the single into the charts once again.

  In music a Rhapsody is one movement of music with many distinct but free flowing parts.<br>So you have the slow beginning, the middle operatic interlude, and the heavy rock out ending. They all flow together, but they don&apos;t really seem like they should. ☺️ Thanks for the reaction!
