One of my favorite lines in this movie is then little Wallace says to his uncle that he can fight.  And the uncles says to him, I know you can fight- but it's our wits, that make us men.

Great reaction young lady. I was impressed with how well you understood the movie especially with English no being your native language. I really enjoyed your reaction to Gran Torino which is why I decided to subscribe.

The face paint is a like a nod to the Picts (the largest group of people that'd become Scotland, was actually named after the smallest population tribe lol, the Scots), though that was the name the Romans gave them meaning painted people, is one overlooked truth in what Mel says playing Wallace Romans have worse manners than him, wasn't wrong lol. Actually the name Wallace means family from Wales, are a number of spellings of the name for wales including Walais (are probably around 10 of them), with the wal part meaning foreigner with its name in Welsh being Cymru pronounced Cumree. Edward I eldest son also called Edward, actually Edward of Caernarfon or Caernarvon or pronounced Edward of Kanarvan (though ironically the title naame of that is actually who's seat is Highclere Downton Abbey's filming location for the most part lol, is English but originally Welsh).

I'm English but cheering for the Scots!! 💪😁 Fantastic movie. I REALLY recommend another favourite movie of mine, with more fighting for honour and inspired by things that happened...'The Last Samurai' 👌
