It only took this one movie reaction to make me a subscriber. The intelligent, observant and heartfelt way you approached this movie and the small details you picked up on while other reactors have completely missed is a breath of fresh air. I look forward to seeing more of your excellent work!

I think the father realized even in his anger and sorrow that Wallace truly loved his daughter more than anything else and wanted no harm to come to her.

Angus MacFadyean's (Robert the Bruce) performance in this movie is criminally underrated. So glad they made a follow-up.

The speech at the end “they fought like Scotsmen” as a Scotsman myself that’s so emotional right there

“There’s a difference between us. You believe the people of this country exist to provide you with position. I believe your position exists to provide those people with freedom, and I go to make sure that they have it.” Mel Gibson singlehandedly delivered the coldest line in movie history.

LOVE these historical dramas. One learns so much! For example, who knew that the British Royals are actually descended from Wm. Wallace? FASCINATING!

He is the example of how actors can also direct great movies, Clint Eastwood directed many classics, Mel Gibson with Braveheart but also The Passion of the Christ, Apocalypto and Hacksaw Ridge and Kevin Kostner directed his first movie which became a classic: Dances with Wolves.

I spent a week in Ft. William, Scotland a few summers ago, visiting a friend from high school (50 years ago), who married a Scotsman and has lived in Scotland for over 25 years. It was beautiful! I did have a hard time understanding the accent, but the people were wonderful! Hey, my heritage is Norwegian. My son has a kilt I got him in Scotland, but he's very proud of his Viking roots too!

Dad in Law having hard time to forgive and then does, is best scene.

The carcass hanging from the tree was what was left of a butchered deer.
