  In Australia we have a lot (and i mean a lot)of Termite companies large and small....We've had our place inspected 3 times by 2 two companies and both missed the Termite infestation in our garage...We've since completely removed and replaced all timber in the walls and replaced the 8 trusses in the roof....Both companies charged $300 with one company spending 1 hr and the other 2 hours.....Prior to these inspections we had a liquid barrier installed by the 1st company, we didn't pursue because the laws in Australia are not favourable for the homeowner in these cases.

  I would like to see the actual WIR report with the house graph to see if they marked the previous infestation .also the report has a back page that mentions that company can only do visual inspection and cannot remove wall  coverings or move heavy appliances to inspect

  We knew we had termite damage when we bought the house. We didn't realize the damage was so extensive. We videoed the damage and we are going to video how we fix it.

  Realtors are a main cause of new home owners heart ache. They get the cheapest termite company to inspect cause they don't want their bottom dollar affected. Often leading to papers just bring written up and home owners thinking they have a bond but they only got an inspection. Lots of times homes will have active termites or excessive damage. I've seen this happen way to many times to people in Chilton county Alabama.

  I&apos;m a tech with a local company in South Alabama. I can&apos;t count how many times in the 2 years I have been in this field that our small service has received calls from customers of &quot;mainstream&quot; termite control companies wanting us to inspect their work, since we do free inspections. I&apos;d say 30-40% of the time, they either have an active infestation or damage that they were never informed that they had.<br><br>It&apos;s sad that people get ripped off by companies they trust their homes to.

  MY ASS Crawlboards. &nbsp;Use that shit it slips and fall through the ceiling, then who&apos;s responsible? &nbsp;I would never send my guys into an attic using crawl boards.
