Hello Guy,
Thank you for all you do!

Recently received a message from my tenant that she see some flying ants in one of the bathrooms. She sent some videos and a few photos of dead ones. She is also making us being unable to inspect the place due to her being sick.
Just wanted to double check with you the product you suggested in another video ( Bioadvanced) Termite killer is a good one to use. I am planning to apply beeds around the home as you adviced in another video. Also, I will order official inspection as I am concerned what type of termite I am dealing with. If the termites happen to be in the home is there anything else I should do? Since I am dealing with tenant I am not going to be able to order more than one inspection. Would you have any clever ideas how should I go about situation I am in? I am in Florida.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Guy, your videos rescued me off a mountain of panic. Was able to escape the cycle of shock and paralysis to develop a good plan -- can't thank you enough. We live in Maryland, this house is 85yo with problems in the past. Found wingless alates and a hallow area on the ledger (directly against the house) of a second floor wood deck structure. Our pictures of the wingless alates match your eastern subterranean description. Using guidance from your tutorial, made a homemade 20mm x 50mm bait to place in an exploratory hole in the ledger, and have ordered/received 2F-based liquid and foam, with correct BioAdvanced granules on the way, in order to treat various house areas and of course the outdoor perimeter. I would like to send maybe 4 pictures to your email address, but want to ask permission here first. Thanks again -- I'm back to sleeping now!

Hello, Thanks for all your great content on the subject of pest control! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with everyone on this subject: it's a great help! I found your channel today and have spent all day watching your termite-related videos.

Last Friday, I discovered that I had a termite infestation on my property in southern Louisiana when I had a large red oak tree taken down. The tree was found to have termites when it was cut down. The termites were cream-colored and seemed to be all types: workers, soldiers and reproductives. The infested trunk pieces remained in my yard until Saturday afternoon when a debris removal company took them away. The trunk was not ground down nor has it been treated in any way.

On Saturday evening, to my great shock and surprise, I found seven termites in the main bathroom, five in the bathtub and two on the tile floor. These were about 1/2" long and brown-colored. I thought that they might be reproductive termites due to their size and coloring but I don't really know. None these had wings nor did I find any wings around the house. I took photos of these and used the website buganalyzr.com. It identified the termites I found inside as "Termite (Eastern Subterranean, Termite, Reticulitermes flavipes)".

Later, I also used that website to identify the termites that I found in the tree trunk and it returned the same result: Eastern Subterranean Termites. However, after watching your video on termite identification, these seem more like what you show as Formosa termites. I have sent an e-mail to you with some of the pictures and I hope you can help me determine which species this really are.

I did an inspection of the home exterior and did not see any mud tubes. I also inspected the interior several times and did not find any kickout holes, frass or exit holes although I am new to this and may have missed something. I plan to look again when I finish writing this post.

LIke I said earlier, I haven't done anything to the stump and I am hoping to get some guidance from you on what steps I should take and in which order I should take with this issue. Thanks again for all you do! I sure hope you can help me figure out what to do. Having them found outside so close to the house, in and of itself, was shocking. Finding live termites inside the house the very next day has really set my mind reeling! Please help!

Last evening I saw these bugs with wings. At first I saw them by my door and sprayed them with a multi purpose cleaner. The door was open and I turned and saw like a small army of these with wings coming towards me to attack. These what people say are termites but I only see two wings on them. Do these “swarmers” always have four wings or us their a new species? I live in central Pennsylvania. Thank you.

I have an old barn that has wood that’s rotting and falling apart, not sure if it’s just old age or something else. There is little holes or tunnels in the wood and it crumbles when removed

I don't see mud tubes around my house but inside? I noticed twice they built the mud tubes in the air from the wood? Like they seem building a large bridge or what?
