Can we take a moment for that stoic policewoman who got called to EVERY stinking phone booth? The first time she’s hoping to rescue someone but after that… what a roller coaster

You two should try an experiment - do an episode where Derrick is the expert on a case and describes it in great detail, and Stephanie knows nothing and chimes in with her thoughts as information comes out. It would be cool to watch the dynamics!

As someone from England I just want to clarify about the grades thing you said that she obviously had good enough grades to graduate - in England we don't "graduate", we study until 16 and take our GCSEs then at that point our grades are what they are for each subject, pass or fail you've finished school. If you pass you can go on to higher education, if you fail you just go find a job that will accept you. You can re do your GCSEs at a community college for a fee but "usually" people won't retake them unless they go for a job that asks you to, so she may have failed and not been accepted in to the army because of that it happens a lot

Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE how y'alls videos are over an hour long. So many youtubers do their videos way too short. I want more. I'm thankful that y'all go into so much detail with all of these cases! ❤️🙌

Derrick, I LOVE that you're like "I'm all for this" about the sex workers ripping them off. So true. I'm all about the progress and safety of the sex workers but idgaf about the johns, sorry not sorry.

“gotcha bitch” 🤣i really love how even though you guys are talking about something so hard/heartbreaking you’re still able to bring some humor into it in a very respectful way!

I like the cases that Derrick has NO background information beforehand. Feels like I have a partner in solving the crime.
Seems as though the suspect is a novice criminal, although older chronologically. He has experience with sex workers but little if a criminal past. His biggest claim is to collect a large chunk of change but his methodology is straight from bad television. It's constantly going off the rails and escalating into bizarre almost ludicrous scenarios. This guy's missing a few screws and probably figured he could augment his railroad pension...who's going to get upset over a couple prostitutes. His methods are clever yet clumsy... I think he keeps f***ing his plans up.
Can't wait to find the typewriter!

I love when it's a surprise for Derrick, it really gives you insight to how the police may have reacted in that moment, too.

Derrick, most of us are here for the same type of reason. We are fascinated by the psychology of the killers and why the turned into what they become, fascinated by the investigation process and how each piece of the puzzle is found and fits together, and we want to honor the victims by telling and hearing their stories! I totally understand why you would say I love this case.
