I'm a Realtor and I can tell you that everything Derrick said the potential perpetrator may do I do before I show a house to someone I am unfamiliar with. I show up way early and stake out the area and house, I plan an escape route, I leave back doors unlocked and never let myself be backed into a room. I always keep my back to a door. I also go back out to my car and snap pictures of license plate and people if I can without them noticing. I also say this house is very popular so I apologize there are several more people coming. Most people don't care if they don't have bad intentions.

I'm impressed with Stephanie Slater. How she could've been composed enough after all she went through to attempt to humanize herself to that maniac. Amazing.

I’m typically a silent viewer, never miss an episode, but usually anything I would be able to add to a conversation has already been said. I just wanted to comment to congratulate you both and say thank you! Crime Weekly gives me something to look forward to every week. Your insight, your dynamic, your theories are absolutely mind blowing. I learn something new every time I tune in. Last year I vowed I was going to meet you guys at crime-con this year, but unfortunately I have to get emergency hip surgery at the ripe old age of 20 😅 so we’ll wait one more year! Thank you so much for the work you do and the time you put in to the podcast, much love to you guys!

When he blindfolded her he wasn't trying to hide his appearance, she's already seen him a bunch at the house showing. He was trying to conceal how to get to the place where he took her and what it looked like on the inside.

The "Jesus Tina, read the room" made me laugh out loud. This is such an intriguing case. I can't wait for part 3!

Re: the blindfold and possibly having more hope that he wouldn’t kill her because she hadn’t seen his face… she already saw his face when she showed him the property he met her at!

I think he left the money in the bag so that someone would find it and take it home and the cops would follow the person thinking it was the kidnapper/murderer.

Okay I love Stephanie's storytelling she has a great voice for it. However I want to see her reactions one time when she's hearing all the things brand new like Derek does I love the format you guys are doing I just want to see Derek tell the story one time with Stephanie having no earlier knowledge of what's going on and I want to see her thought process

The fact he was married scared me. It’s so scary to know someone you can live with and talk to every day can be capable of doing something so horrible and disgusting is terrifying. Like seriously it’s so scary.
