I have had a Pit Boss for a few years now. When I first used it the WIFI was a problem. I called customer service they told me they were in the process of fixing the software. In around 2 months I called and was told to use it, it has worked perfectly ever since. I cure and smoke Pork Bellies from Costco. Best bacon you will ever taste and all natural. Thank you Pit Boss.

I love my Searwood 600. If I could only have one device: Grill, griddle or smoker, this one would be it.

I’ve had a Searwood XL for 9 months now and it’s absolutely incredible. 100% agree with the top rating!

I have the Weber searwood and I love it, it's absolutely perfect. Love that I can smoke some chicken, sear up a steak and put in the griddle and make pancakes and breakfast all from the some piece of kit

I have the 850DX. Love it!! Took no time at all to connect to my WiFi. The grill has performed flawlessly. This is my second Pit Boss and I would not go back to anything other than a pellet grill. My controller on this Pit Boss holds temperature very close. Love this grill.

I love my searwood, I’ve smoked brisket, meatloaf, lots of ribs, chicken thighs, whole chickens and even the thanksgiving turkey, chuck roast, top round and pork shoulder! It has performed flawlessly every time. FYI: weber makes a water pan that fits under the grills and works great to add back some moisture, I do notice on long cooks that my bark can get pretty dry.

I have the larger camp chef and it’s the best! Being able to add actual wood and/or charcoal to the smoke box adds a whole new dimension of flavor. Last week I smoked baby backs with hickory pellets and an apple wood block and everyone raved about it. I did apple pellets and a mesquite block on beef backs and they lasted 10 minutes. Amazing!

Been using a pellet grill since 2010. Stopped trying to “sear” years ago. I never go above 350. Always slow smoke at 235 to 250. I also have a SNS kettle. A Cookshack oven. And a Weber Q. For a reason. Good review.

I recently retired a over five year old Gulf Coast Pit Boss Laredo 1000 that I had added a Camp Chef Sidekick with Griddle to a few Months ago. During Black Friday 2025 I Scored a Pit Boss Navigator 1150g for $399.99 at Academy Sports (was listed as a Navigator 1000) & put it into storage until a couple of weeks ago. I got it assembled & transferred the Camp Chef Sidekick. I've been very impressed with the Navigator 1150g even that it doesn't have an Ash Clean-Out or an App. I could always change out the Controller with a Pit Boss Upgrade for about a Hundred Dollars with only a One Year Warranty even though my Pit has more than another Four Years of Warranty Remaining??? or an aftermarket Controller that does more for less and an extended Warranty of up to Three Years can be added for just a few bucks. BTW, adding a Camp Chef Sidekick to a Pit Boss (or other Brand) is a Game Changer. Being able to Transfer Chunks of a Pork Shoulder Roast back and forth between the Pit and the Griddle is "Next Level Grilling". I also have been Cold Smoking (No Heat) with a Smoke Tube for years mostly using Royal Oak Blend of Charcoal & Hickory Pellets. Gulf Coast corrosion has been a challenge. I recently discovered a Protectant by Gear Hugger called "RUST". It's a bit Tacky (clear / shinny) but the trade off is worth it in my opinion, it also doesn't smoke or burn off even at 500 degrees F. Randy AKA randog311
