I hired my old boss to sell my Covington home and buy another home. I ended up with EXACTLY what I did not want and he totally abandoned me in the hugest mess ever with so many issues we had to sell it within 10 months due to running out of money fixing everything. That included a filling a huge 30 ft x 15 ft koi pond which cost over 1000.00 a month to run. Never hire a friend or ex boss, as the power issue from the beginning was terrible since he did not give me the respect he normally would give another buyer. He favored the seller over us on every issue and I think they were friends of his and he helped them unload a horrible house on us. The inspector did just as much harm to us, lying and not knowing anything about houses. Hire only the top selling agents in your area. I recommend Monique Lusk from Redfin/Seattle area if you can't get Leah Courage.

Queen of the Evergreen! I haven’t commented on your channel in a while since the month of August through the first week in September was very busy for me and I was out out of town. However, this list is absolutely brilliant!!! My husband put in a 10,000 gallon pond in the backyard and I desperately want to take it out. It leaks constantly so the water and the electricity bill to keep it going is astronomical. He likes to step outside and hear the waterfall. He also built an enclosed porch in front of our living room, so our living room is really super dark. We used it as our bedroom for a couple years when the kids were living with us and we needed the space. You’re absolutely spot on with how hot and cold it gets. We hired somebody to run heating ducts to that room but that got destroyed by raccoons or mice or possums… but what I truly hate is our living room is an absolute cave. It’s blocking our only window. I wish we could convert it back to a porch. However, my husband uses it as his quasi man cave. Keep up the great work and I truly agree with everything on this list. We love you Leah:-)!!!!

It cost me $9000 to replace an 8’ X 35’ deck a few years ago. I don’t recall ever using it. Sure looked appealing when I bought the place….
