  The fact the remake still looks like a modern game 23 years later is truly incredible. I remember being completely blown away by it at the time

  The lab staff photo with Wesker on the right wearing his shades is friggin hilarious. It&apos;s like a Forrest Gump edit. Probably the campiest moment in the whole franchise, even more ridiculous than anything in RE5

  There&apos;s something special about the blend of camp, horror, dread, anxiety, and comforting moments that the old-school Resident Evils had that no competitor has been able to replicate. It may not have invented the Survival Horror genre, but this game definitely defined it.

  Barry isn’t a liar, if you trust him he lives.<br>He saves you the entire game — from the first zombie to the shotgun trap, kills plant 42 with a flamethrower, kills Wesker, etc.<br><br>He also saves Jill in RE3.

  Terrified me as a kid, I remember being locked in the room with that one zombie (the one that gets the side glance cinematic) and realizing I didnt have ammo, Or a gun at that.

  I don&apos;t think I was scared of anything in the beginning of the game, but one thing really stands out.<br><br>The hunters. They are such a shift in tone from the zombies and always had me on edge and terrified. <br><br>Also, there&apos;s a scene you can trigger where Rebecca is under attack by a hunter and you need to rescue her, but I had no ammo to fight with so I went into the save room right next to the stairs she was clawing back under and when I walked through the door you hear her scream as she&apos;s killed. I couldn&apos;t bring myself to walk back out the door and just turned the game off. I was like 14 and had a huge crush on Rebecca... It was actually traumatic.

  Sweet baby jesus, son be shining over this for quite a while. Hope you do one off videos in between son, variety is the spice of life. Been amazing to see you put out videos so consistently, I hope you never get close to burning out. Take good care of yourself son. Have a wonderful new year.
