Americans confused with Europe part 4... here we go again

  Some Americans vacation to Europe and spend the entire time whining that it isn't the USA. Then they return home and no doubt whine to everybody that Europe is weird and nothing like the USA. Thank fuck it isn't.

  I hear this a lot about us Europeans that our service is rude and no one pays attention to them. I think there&apos;s definitely a culture clash there, since letting people eat and be in peace is seen as the polite thing to do in most EU countries. If you need service, you will ask for it yourself in many cases here. Being interrupted mid-meal is seen as a bit of a nuisance, at least here in Denmark.

  She thinks having a large selection of baked beans is strange, we think going to a grocery store to buy a gun or ammunition is strange.

  I laughed so hard at the &quot;racista&quot; girl.... We only aaw 60 seconds of her talking and i found her instantly annoying. She probably just drove people mad all the time. 😂

  In the UK service staff don&apos;t live off tips, so they don&apos;t put on that fake smile and forced friendliness... Just treat them respectfully and they will treat you the same way.

  I&apos;m from Madrid, and there are racist and fat-phobic people everywhere... But by the sound of it, the problem just traveled with her.

  I&apos;ve heard from Americans that Europeans are very kind and friendly and helpful. I&apos;ve also heard from Americans that Europeans are very rude. It was then pointed out to me that Europeans will generally be nice unless you behave like an entitled little prick, which is where the rudeness comes out in response.<br><br>In short if you go visit a different culture and encounter someone rude, sure you may have just met a rude person. But if you think everyone is consistently being rude to you, then it might say more about you than the place you are visiting.

  That rude girl. OMG she is terrible. I am pretty sure that she just got back what she was portraying. Anyone with an attitude like that should stay home. Soooo full of herself. In Europe we really don’t like that kind of attitude.
