  &apos;Carpetbagger&apos; is a post Civil War insult for northerners coming down South to exploit the poor during Reconstruction, who traveled using a carpet bag as luggage.

  The real irony in KJ calling Finlay a carpetbagger is that the Kliner’s themselves, although it was never revealed where they were originally from, were outsiders to the town who swooped in to take advantage of the town’s financial straits.

  Neagley doesn&apos;t shake hands with the cops because she has a fear of touching anyone. (the exception is when she is fighting as seen later in the episode) She doesn&apos;t shake hands, hug people, etc.... Anything.

These guys are good enough that he has to take them seriously. It isn&apos;t like the guy with the dog whom he has no fear and no respect for and just casually smacks them around. If he doesn&apos;t give it his all, he might not live. Very different situations.

  The actors really grew into the characters as the season progressed. &nbsp;I like how each season is one of the books

  No point in keeping the guy alive to question. He was trained and Reacher doesn&apos;t have the time or a place to take the guy for interrogation. Remember it was the middle of the day, he&apos;d have to get him back to the street, where they&apos;d be seen and he can&apos;t explain nothing. As far as everyone is concerned, he&apos;s commiting a crime (and it&apos;s exactly what he&apos;s doing).

  Kristen, this one’s for you. Just as a reminder that Jack Reacher is an investigative legend so if he kills somebody without questioning them, it’s because he’s already assessed that he’ll get nothing from them or that like these guys are so well trained that the risk of not taking them out outweighs whatever he might possibly get, so I defer to the expertise. 🤷‍♂️😂 (but trust me I love the reactions.   I love the scene of Finley and Mosley taking about being the only black people in all of Margrave. If I were either of them, I would’ve moved up to New England or to California. But instead, Mosley stayed there in an almost Captain America way of saying “No, you move“. To any people color who have lived in the deep south for generations, in spite of relentless bigotry and racism, you have my absolute respect.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
