So Ripley finally gets her happy ending, a new Nostromo for her to captain, a new crew, a new little girl for her to love. And she finally makes it back to Earth. Always amazing how many female reactors have sympathy with the Newborn, the maternal instinct is strong indeed,

In Aliens, THE chestburster scene is immediately at the beginning of the sequence when they first have heavy losses, when Apone is caught/killed. It’s the first time we really see what a “hive” looks like.

Michael Wincott is probably my favourite 90’s character actor. From Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves,The Three Musketeers(1992) and The Crow. His raspy voice makes any thing he says sound more cool.
