I grew up in the sixties. I still think the music in the sixties and seventies changed music for ever.

I was 15 when I first heard “The Sounds of Silence.” We played it at every party I went to. It was a big hit and it still is. I’m 75 now and it’s been a great song my whole life. “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” is also a favorite. In fact, almost all of their songs are considered to be classics of my generation. Thanks for this documentary.❤❤❤❤❤

I was 17yrs old. I had just met a guy who later became my husband and the love of my life. He was an acoustic guitarist and played Simon and Garfunkel music. I fell in love with him and Simon and Garfunkel music. That was nearly 60 years ago. I lost the love of my life when he was 41years old and every time I hear Sounds of Silence it brings tears to my eyes. Our children are all musicians and we often sing those beautiful songs of Simon and Garfunkel.

I grew up in the '60s, and I truly believe the music of the '60s and '70s changed the world of music forever.

I was in High School when Sounds of Silence hit me; still hits me today. I love all of their music (as a duo) and am amazed at the "meaning" of the dialogue - ..."and the vision that was planted in my brain" .... What a period in time to be growing up. Children these days are missing so much.

I was 15 and once I heard them I couldn't get enough of them. I was one of their biggest fans, and still am. Their music really influenced my life. I loved the depth of the lyrics.

Amazing duo, and an even more amazing solo career for Paul Simon. Rhymin' Simon indeed.

I was 21 years old a 2nd year medical student at Montpellier University Medical school France when I saw the movie the graduate and heard the Mrs. Robinson song in1965 fell in love with it and made my mind to emigrate to the USA following my graduation. I have never ever regretted this decision and have been a proud citizen of our mighty nation the USA since 1973

I was 14, learning to play guitar when a friend introduced me to Wednesday Morning 3 AM. I began learning the songs on it. When Sounds of Silence came out, I was hooked. I kept learning songs from subsequent albums. The only ones I didn’t learn were ones where they were too high. The last songs I learned were from Bridge Over Troubled Waters… and I struggled to sing that beautiful anthem. I found a friend in the early 70’s who could sing that part and we played together in coffee houses. I miss those times.

I was 15 when Paul Simon was touring on his own in England. I have The Paul Simon Songbook in the loft! I loved Sound of Silence, The Boxer, A little Could on the side of the Hill, and Kathy’s song written for Kathy Chitty who accompanied Paul to the USA but felt she couldn’t cope with his growing success.

My friend and I went to a Ventures concert in a Quansent. Hut in Greenville,Miss in 1965 during a rain storm. We sat in a row of metal fold out chairs and a young group came out named Simon and Garfunkel. We were within reaching distance . Never forget told hazy lazy days.
